Jerusalem: In the Mirror of History

Jerusalem is the city and capital of Palestine. It is sacred to all three, Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The first Holy place of the Muslims is the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. The distance from Makkah to Jerusalem is about 1300 km. The city is located at 31 45 45 north latitude and 35 13 13 east longitude.

Bethlehem and Hebron are to the south and Ramallah to the north. Al-Quds is called "Jerusalem" in European languages. Jerusalem is located on the hills and one of them is called "Mount Zion" on which "Al-Aqsa Mosque" and "Dome of the Rock" is located. Forty years after the foundation of Al-Aqsa Mosque was laid by Mecca, it was laid by Hazrat Adam (Peace Be Upon Him) or one of his descendants. Then it was built by Hazrat Sam bin Noah (Peace Be Upon Him). After a long time, Hazrat Dawood (Peace Be Upon Him) laid the foundation of Jerusalem at the place where the tent of Hazrat Musa (Peace Be Upon Him) was set up. Before the completion of this building, when the time came for the death of Hazrat Syedna Dawood (Peace Be Upon Him), he bequeathed to his son Hazrat Syedna Suleiman (Peace Be Upon Him) its completion. So Hazrat Suleiman (Peace Be Upon Him) built Al-Aqsa Mosque with a group of jinn.

Jerusalem is the first Holy place of the Muslims. For 16 to 17 months after the migration, the Holy Prophet used to offer prayers facing the Holy House (Al-Aqsa Mosque). According to Muslims, Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest place after Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi. Local Muslims call it Al-Aqsa Mosque or Haram Quds Sharif. It is located in East Jerusalem, which is occupied by Israel.

It is the largest mosque in Jerusalem with a capacity of 5,000 worshipers, while the courtyard of the mosque can accommodate thousands of worshipers. The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) arrived here from the Sacred Mosque during the Ascension and after leading the prayers of all the Prophets in Jerusalem, he set out on a journey to the seven heavens through Baraq.

In Surah Al-Isra 'of the Holy Qur'an, Allah Almighty mentions this mosque in these words: “Glory be to the One who took His servant from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the middle of the night, around which We have blessed him. That we may show him some of our signs. Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. ” (Surat al-Isra ') According to the hadiths, traveling to only three mosques in the world is a blessing, including the Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Nabawi and Masjid al-Aqsa. Al-Aqsa Mosque is the second mosque built on earth. Where the reward of one prayer is two hundred and according to some traditions 25 thousand.

Jerusalem is the land of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon them) in Palestine. When the Holy Prophet was sent, it was occupied by the Christians of the Roman Empire and the Roman Empire was very powerful at that time. But at the same time, the Holy Prophet announced the good news of the liberation of Jerusalem and called it one of the signs of the Hour.

Hazrat Omar Farooq (RA) had liberated Jerusalem from the hands of Jews and Christians in the year 236 AH according to his caliphate 16 AH. During this period many Companions took up residence in Jerusalem for the purpose of preaching Islam and spreading the religion. Between 66 AH and 86 AH, Caliph Abdul Mulk bin Marwan started the construction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and between 86 AH and 96 AH, his son Caliph Walid bin Abdul Mulk completed its construction and renovation.

Jerusalem

The Abbasid Caliph Abu Ja'far Mansur also repaired the mosque. This holy land of Jerusalem remained under Muslim rule until almost the Abbasid period. ۔ on the other hand, the Fatimid government also sought the help of these crusaders for the strengthening and stability of their government and for the elimination of the Seljuk’s from Syria and provided them with various facilities and allowed them to come and go to Jerusalem. Eventually, taking advantage of all this, the Crusaders revolted and betrayed and betrayed their Fatimid caliphs. He prepared his army to occupy Jerusalem and then martyred more than 70,000 Muslims.

Finally, according to 492 AH, in 1099, the Crusaders snatched Jerusalem from the Muslims. And established his Christian rule over Jerusalem. After the First Crusade, when the Christians occupied Jerusalem, they changed the Al-Aqsa Mosque a lot. They built several rooms in the mosque to live in and named it the Temple of Solomon, as well as adding several other buildings that were used as necessities and granaries. They built a church inside the mosque and along with the mosque.

Then Sultan Salah Uddin Ayubi fought about 16 wars for the liberation of the first Holy place. Finally, in 1187, according to 538 AH, Sultan Salah Uddin Ayubi liberated Jerusalem from the Crusaders after a series of battles. And cleansed Al-Aqsa Mosque from all traces of Christians and rebuilt the mihrab and mosque.

Thus, 88 years later, Jerusalem was recaptured by the Muslims and the Christian government were wiped out from the Holy Land. Thus, the Muslim kingdom ruled the Holy Land for about 761 consecutive years. Then, during World War I, in December 1917, the British occupied Jerusalem and Palestine, allowing the Jews to settle.

Under a Jewish-Christian conspiracy, in November 1947, the UN General Assembly fraudulently divided Palestine into Arabs and Jews. Even on May 14, 1948, the conspiracies of the United States, Britain, and France established the Zionist Empire in the Palestinian territories, and when the Jews declared the establishment of Israel in 1948, the first Arab-Israeli war broke out.

As a result of this war, Israelis occupied 78% of the territory of Palestine. However, East Jerusalem (West Jerusalem) and the West Bank came under Jordanian control. Then, in the third Arab-Israeli war, in June 1967, the Israelis gained control of the rest of Palestine and Jerusalem. And so Jerusalem has been occupied by Jews since 1967 and is now completely under their control.

The enmity of the Jews against Islam and the Nation of Islam is a permanent chapter in history. Every student of the history of Islam is aware of the insurrections and conspiracies of the Jews of Madinah during the time of the Holy Prophet. For the past fourteen centuries, Jews have had a hostile attitude towards Muslims in particular and against other humans in general.

Palestine is the biggest tragedy of the twentieth century. By creating this problem, Jews and Christians seem to have stabbed Islam in the heart. After the establishment of Israel in 1948, the occupying Jews from Europe evicted the Palestinians living in Palestine from their lands and properties for thousands of years and forced them to live in miserable conditions in the camps.

On August 21, 1969, Dennis Michael Rohan, an Australian Jew, set fire to the first Holy place, which engulfed the Al-Aqsa Mosque for three hours and caused a large part of the Holy place to fall southeast. The pulpit in the mihrab, which was erected by Sultan Salah Uddin Ayubi after the conquest of Jerusalem, also caught fire.

In fact, the Jews consider this mosque to be a place of worship built on the site of the Temple of Solomon and want to demolish it and rebuild the Temple of Solomon, although they have never been able to prove by the argument that the Temple of Solomon was built here. Over the past half-century, tens of thousands of Palestinian Muslims have been martyred, wounded, or displaced by Israeli Jewish aggression and war and millions have lived in miserable conditions in camps in occupied Palestine or in neighboring countries.

In fact, Gaza has become a complete prison. And the United Nations and its allies, the United States and European countries, are patrons and supporters of the Jews. It is unfortunate that some so-called Muslim countries are either supporting these enemies of Islam or remain silent spectators for the sake of their personal petty interests and the survival of their short-lived glory and temporary seat. But these Jews and their followers should remember that "Syria" which in ancient times consisted of the lands of Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, and Syria, where these Jews occupy today, according to the hadiths, near the Day of Judgment, Islam will prevail there and faith and Believers will be mostly in Syria during this time of tribulations.

In this time of tribulations, there will be different groups and armies of the people of Islam in different areas. In this period, he encouraged the people of Syria and the armies of the people of Syria to adopt armies, because Allah Almighty must have taken the responsibility of protecting them.

Bab al-Lud in Jerusalem

This will be the army of Hazrat Mahdi (Peace Be Upon Him) and Hazrat Isa (Peace Be Upon Him). And at the last moment, near the Day of Judgment, the Holy Land will be the center and axis of the Islamic Khilafah. Before the Day of Judgment, Medina will be deserted and Jerusalem will be inhabited, then this will be a time of great battles and tribulations, after which the Antichrist will emerge. The Antichrist will emerge from between Syria and Iraq. The temptation of the antichrist is the greatest temptation of this Muslim world. Every prophet warned his people against it. But the antichrist will not be able to enter Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, and Mount Tur.

Bab al-Lud in Jerusalem

The descent of Jesus (AS) will also take place near the White Tower in the same area east of Damascus. And they will kill the Antichrist near Bab Lud. Bab al-Lud is near Jerusalem in the Palestinian territory, which is occupied by the Israeli occupier. In the same way, the tribulation or the destruction and end of Gog and Magog will take place near Jabal al-Khumr near Jerusalem.

It is as clear as day that the Day of Judgment will not come until the Jews are wiped off the face of the earth. Today, Jews from all over the world are gathering in their slaughter "Israel". This time must come before the Day of Judgment. The Muslims will selectively kill the Jews and once again by the command of Allah Almighty, after the reappearance of Hazrat Imam Mahdi (Peace Be Upon Him) and Hazrat Isa (Peace Be upon Him) near the Day of Judgment, the first kiblah of the Muslims will be conquered by a believing group.

From the current situation in Jerusalem and Palestine, it is clear that the time is near, so Muslims should always be ready for the protection and liberation of the first kiblah and prepare their descendants for its restoration by making them aware of its history.
